Install:

1. You need the windowmanager ctwm 3.4 or higer, been already installed.

2. Install the ctwm-configuration into your home directory:

A: use setup and read the file .xstart !!!!!!
     read steps 5. und 6. !!!

(setup should make the directories as required in steps 3. and 4.)

  	or

 B: Copy files manualy:

     .ctwmrc
     .xstart
     .ctwm_help
     .aliases
     .xskript/xsave

     into your homedirectory.

3. Read the top of the file .xstart and follow the instructions, if you want to
use it, for starting programs easily, not been mixed up within your .xinitrc
    or .xsession

4.1 Make a direcory .xskript and copy the files from the .xskript
    source-directory into it.

4.2 Make the directory system_archiv, in order to use the systemfile-save-macro.

4.3 Only if you run SuSE-Linux copy the files :

.xskript/xyast (to start YaST from menu)
.xskript/xmessages (to start xmessages from menu)

into your your directory. Non SuSE-Linux users may try, whether the scripts
are working or if not, edit them or remove the functions from the menus.

5. If something does go wrong and you wish to exit ctwm, there are three ways
    within this script:

	- right mouse button on the root-screen offers you a menu
	- in the title bar of each window look for the icon with the X. This
	  offers you again a menu
	- press ctrl + shift + F12 (this may not work, when num-lock or cap is
activated, but this may be different to each
				    machine.)

6. To start ctwm when you login (and if you wish to exit the xsession with
exiting ctwm) you have to put the ctwm start command at the end of your
.xsession (respectively .xinitrc) as a process in the foreground.

7. Hope you have most of the programs, I put into the mainmenu... :-)
